Terms of Service

These terms apply to anyone who books a service ("Customer") or provides a service ("SHADOW Partner") through BookMyShadow, launching in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh.

1. What we offer

BookMyShadow connects customers with verified SHADOW Partners for non-medical support such as hospital-visit assistance, elder companionship and personal assistance. Each service lists what is included and excluded. Partners do not perform medical procedures, nursing care or any task needing professional qualification.

2. Bookings

A booking is confirmed only after the booking details are complete, payment is verified by our payment gateway, and a partner has been assigned or has accepted. Prices, durations and extension charges are set by BookMyShadow and shown before payment.

3. Payments

Payments are collected online through our payment partner. We never ask for your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or OTP on WhatsApp or by phone. Customers must not pay partners directly in cash or otherwise; any such payment is outside BookMyShadow and not covered by our support or refund policy.

4. Extensions and extra work

Extra time can be requested through the platform at the predefined price, subject to partner availability and a maximum extension limit. Different or additional services require a new booking.

5. Conduct

Customers and partners must treat each other with respect. We may restrict accounts for abuse, fraud, unsafe behaviour or repeated policy violations.

6. Shadow Partner terms

Partners are independent service providers, not employees. Partners must complete verification, follow the service scope, keep customer information confidential, and must not negotiate prices or accept payment outside the platform. Payouts are calculated by BookMyShadow per booking and paid according to the partner agreement shared during onboarding.

7. Liability

BookMyShadow takes reasonable care in verifying partners but is not a medical provider. In an emergency, contact emergency services (112) first. Our liability for any booking is limited to the amount paid for that booking, to the extent permitted by law.
